About UPCET EXAM 2022
UPCET 2022: The last date of the application form for UPCET 2022 has been extended to May 22, 2022 through CUET for various UG courses. The authority will conduct UPCET 2022 for the candidates seeking admission in various UG and PG Engineering, Pharmacy, Management, and CSIT courses. It must be noted that NTA will not conduct any entrance examination for B.Tech admissions. JEE Main scores will be accepted for admission into B. Tech (4 years) and B.Arch admission will be done through NATA.
As per the exam pattern of UPCET 2022, the exam will be conducted online mode. The question paper will consist of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). The duration for solving UPCET 2022 paper will be different as per the courses.
UPCET 2022 Syllabus will be different for every UG and PG course. The syllabus for the UG courses will consist of questions from the 11th and 12th levels, whereas the syllabus for PG courses will consist of various topics from the relevant field. Candidates should solve the practice papers of UPCET 2022 to improve their chances of clearing and scoring high marks in the exam.
What is UPCET Exam? Uttar Pradesh Combined Entrance Test (formerly known as UPSEE) is a state-level test for candidates seeking admission in various UG and PG courses offered in the field of Engineering, CSIT, Management, Pharmacy, etc. Through UPCET 2022 exam candidates can take admission into colleges affiliated with AKTU, MMMUT, and other state universities of Uttar Pradesh.
Eligibility
UPCET 2022 Eligibility Criteria
UPCET 2022 Eligibility Criteria includes various parameters such as educational qualification, age limit, domicile, nationality, etc.
- Age: There is no age limit for admissions based on UPCET 2022.
- Nationality: Indian nationals are eligible to apply for UPCET 2022 however, foreign nationals/ PIOs are also eligible.
- Domicile: It is not mandatory for candidates to have a domicile of Uttar Pradesh for admissions based on UPCET. However, candidates who do not have a domicile of Uttar Pradesh will only be eligible for admission to 20% of the seats.
- Educational Qualification: The minimum educational qualification required for admissions based on UPCET 2022 varies according to the program.
- B.Pharma/ B.Des/ BHMCT/ B.Voc/ BFA/ BFAD/ MCA (Integrated)/ MBA (Integrated): Candidates must have passed Class 12th or equivalent for admission.
- B.Tech/ B.Pharma (Lateral Entry): Candidates must have passed a valid Diploma or must be a B.Sc graduate.
- MCA/ MBA/ M.Sc./ M.Tech: Candidates must have passed a valid undergraduate degree from a recognized institute.

The exam pattern of UPCET 2022 is given below:
Exam Mode: UPCET 2022 will be conducted online mode.
Type of Questions: Candidates will have Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) in UPCET 2022 question paper.
Duration: Candidates will be given 3 hours 15 minutes for Slot I & 3 hours 45 minutes for slot II question paper.
Language: The question paper will be available in 13 languages including Bengali, English, Hindi, Assamese, Kannada, Marathi, Gujarati, Tamil, Telugu, Odia, Malayalam, Punjabi, and Urdu.
Marking Scheme: 5 marks will be awarded for every correct answer and 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer.

Syllabus
UPCET 2022 Syllabus
UPCET 2022 Syllabus will be based on the topics and sections from respective qualifying degrees. For undergraduate courses, the UPCET syllabus will be based on topics from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, or other valid courses.
For postgraduate courses, UPCET Syllabus will be based on the respective graduation subjects.
Registration
Candidates will find the complete details with some key instructions regarding UPCET 2022 Application Form:
- The application form for UPCET 2022 was released on April 6, 2022 through CUET.
- The appearing candidates should confirm their eligibility before applying for the examination.
- The application form must be filled out very carefully. However, a form correction facility will be provided by the authority.
- The application form could be rejected if there are any wrong details. Candidates should fill in the exact details in UPCET 2022 application form as it appears in their 10th mark sheet.
- Candidates can submit the application form till May 22, 2022. No candidates will be allowed to submit after the date.
- Applicants are advised to keep the printout of the application form and fee receipt for future references.

UPCET 2022 Application Correction
The complete details about the application form correction facility are given below:
- After the final submission of UPCET 2022 application form, the application form correction facility will be available.
- Candidates will be able to rectify their mistakes within the correction period.
- The application form correction facility will be available only for the candidates who have registered for the examination.
- The mistakes should be corrected before the prescribed time scheduled as no correction will be allowed after that date.
- Candidates have to fill out their application form very carefully as the correction facility will be applicable in limited fields only
