About BITSAT EXAM 2022
BITSAT 2022 exam schedule for Session 1 and Session 2 has been revised by BITS Pilani. As per the revised schedule, BITSAT 2022 for session I and session II will now be conducted from July 2 to July 9, 2022, and August 3 to August 7, 2022, respectively. The application form for the session I has been released on March 14, 2022. Eligible candidates will be able to fill out the application form by June 10, 2022
Eligibility
BITSAT 2022 Syllabus has been released by BITS Pilani along with the official brochure. BITSAT syllabus is based on NCERT syllabus for Class 11th and 12th. BITSAT 2022 Syllabus consists of four parts which include Physics, Chemistry, English Proficiency, and Logical Reasoning, Mathematics/Biology. BITSAT 2022 for Session I will be conducted from June 20- June 26, 2022
| Mathematics | Consists of 11 topics. This section can be said to be moderate to difficult on the scale of level of difficulty of the exam. |
| Biology | Includes 10 chapters from the CBSE syllabus of both class 11 and 12. In the Biology section, the topics from Class 11 hold more weightage than those of class 12. We infer that the maximum questions come from principles of inheritance and variation followed by molecular basis of inheritance and morphology of flowering plants. |
| Chemistry | Consists of 13 major topics that dominate the section with most of the questions. The maximum questions are asked from chemical bonding and molecular structure followed by equilibrium and hydrocarbons. |
| Physics | Comprises 18 topics. This section is considered one of the toughest thresholds in BITSAT by many of the aspirants. Most of the questions are asked from Current Electricity, Semi-Conductors and laws of motion. |
| English & Logical Reasoning | This section is subdivided into two more sections- English Proficiency and Logical Reasoning. This section consists of 15 questions from English Proficiency and 10 questions from Logical Reasoning. |

Registration
BITSAT Application Form 2022 for Session I has been released on the official website of BITS Pilani. Candidates fulfilling BITSAT 2022 Eligibility Criteria with an aggregate of 75% marks in PCB/PCM along with an individual score of 60% each in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology can submit BITSAT 2022 Application Form by June 10, 2022. BITSAT 2022 Application Form for session II will be made available from July 4, 2022.
- BITSAT Form Correction window for Session I candidates will remain open from June 8 to June 12, 2022.
- Candidates can opt to appear in BITSAT 2022 twice. Such candidates can submit BITSAT 2022 Application Form for both sessions at the time of submission of the application form for Session I.
- Students who do not apply for Session I will not be eligible to apply for Session II of BITSAT 2022.
- BITSAT 2022 Application fees for both sessions is INR 5400 for male candidates and INR 4400 for female candidates.
- Candidates opting to appear only in Session I will be required to pay application fees of INR 3400 for male candidates and INR 2900 for female candidates
