About SRMJEEE EXAM 2022

SRMJEEE 2022: SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST) is going to conduct SRMJEEE Phase 3 from June 25 to June 26, 2022, in three shifts. Candidates can fill SRMJEEE 2022 Application Form for Phase 3 till June 20, 2022. SRMJEEE 2022 Slot Booking for Phase 2 is closed. SRMJEEE 2022 Phase 2 result will be announced on April 30, 2022.

 

Due to COVID-19, SRMIST will conduct SRMJEEE 2022 exam in three phases. Candidates who wish to take SRMJEE 2022 more than once will be required to pay an additional INR 600 for each additional attempt. As per SRMJEEE 2022, Exam Pattern, the exam will be held for a duration of 2 hours and 30 minutes. Candidates are awarded 1 mark for each correct answer. The SRMJEEE question paper consists of 125 MCQs based on the syllabus of Class 11th and 12th for PCM/B and English & Aptitude. Check SRMJEEE 2022 Syllabus​

SRMJEEE 2022 Cut-off will be released by SRMIST after the conclusion of the exam. The cut-off is expected to contain the range of marks within which candidates will be accepted for B.Tech admission. 

What is SRMJEE? SRMJEEE or SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Exam is a University level entrance test conducted by SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST) for admission to undergraduate B.tech programs offered at SRM campuses across Chennai, Haryana, and Andhra Pradesh.

  • No changes have been made to SRMJEEE 2022 Exam Pattern. However the same had been revised last year. 
  • SRMJEEE 2022 now has five sections- Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology, English and Aptitude. 
  • Candidates opting for B.Tech Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, Bioinformatics and Genetic Engineering have to attempt the Biology section instead of Mathematics.

  • Candidates must note that while the Physics, Chemistry, English and Aptitude sections of the paper are compulsory, they can choose Mathematics or Biology section as per their course requirement.
  • SRMJEEE 2022 Syllabus is based on the syllabus of Class 12th for subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Mathematics.
    • The syllabus for English is based on small comprehension and passages.

    SRMJEEE 2022 Preparation

    • Reder to the previous year SRMJEEE Question Papers or Model Question Papers. Since SRMJEEE is an engineering entrance you can also practice by solving previous year question papers of other B.Tech exams such as JEE Main, BITSAT, VITEEE, WBJEE, etc. 
    • Allot equal time to each subject for preparation as well as revision. However, since English and Aptitude have a comparatively lesser weightage in the total marks, these two subjects can be prepared in the last month of exam preparation.
    • Make sure that all the concepts are clear. If required you can create small notes of all the important formulas, theorems, diagrams and even chemical reactions for revision during the last few days of SRMJEEE 2022 Preparation.
    • Prepare a study plan. Since each candidate has a different approach while preparing for entrances, the first step is always to prepare a study plan which includes times allocated to all the important topics from each subject.
    • Refer to the best-recommended resources for exam preparation. Refer to the recommended books by your teachers. SRMJEEE exam can be easily qualified if you refer to your Class 12th syllabus and study material.

SRMJEEE 2022 Application Form

  • SRMJEEE 2022 application form has been released on November 16, 2021. The last date to apply for Phase 3 of the exam is June 20,2022.
  • Candidates can apply for SRMJEEE 2022 through online mode.
  • To fill SRMJEEE 2022 Application Form online, candidates can follow the steps mentioned below:
    • Step 1: Visit the official website of SRIMST https://applications.srmist.edu.in
    • Step 2: Register yourself by using your email id.
    • Step 3: Fill the application form online by entering all the qualification details required.
    • Step 4- Candidates will be required to pay the application fees in online mode
    • Step 5- Upload a scanned copy of your photograph and signature
