About VITEEE EXAM 2022

What is VITEEE? VITEEE or Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Examination is a national level exam conducted by VIT University, Vellore. VITEEE 2022 scores are compulsory for B.Tech admissions into all campuses of VIT. Eligible candidates will compete for 5000 engineering seats offered at various VIT campuses

VITEEE 2022: Vellore Institute of Technology has extended the last date for VITEEE Application Form submission. Candidates who have completed Class 12^th or are appearing in the 2022 board exams can apply for VITEEE 2022 online at viteee.vit.ac.in. The last date to fill out the application form is June 15, 2022. As per VITEEE 2022 Eligibility, candidates who have scored a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in Chemistry, Physics, Biology/Mathematics in class 12^th can apply. VITEEE 2022 will be conducted from June 30 to July 6, 2022. 

As per VITEEE 2022 Exam Pattern, the exam will be conducted as a computer-based test mode. There will be a total of 125 questions that need to be answered in a total duration of 2 hours and 30 minutes. VITEEE Syllabus 2022 is divided into 5 sections viz. Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Biology, Aptitude, and English. Candidates must choose to appear for either of the two groups of VITEEE 2022 - PCMEA or PCBEA. Candidates are advised to get familiar with the exam pattern and level of questions. 

VITEEE 2022 Result will be declared on July 8, 2022. Based on the candidate’s performance, they will be able to participate in VITEEE 2022 Counselling. VIT will also release a merit list based on the percentile obtained by the candidates. VIT uses a statistical process of ‘Equi-percentile Equating Method’ to determine the percentile ranks for aspirants

Eligibility

VITEEE 2022 Eligibility Criteria

The VIT Vellore releases VITEEE 2022 Eligibility Criteria on the official website. Candidates should go through the eligibility criteria before applying for VITEEE 2022. As per the eligibility criteria, Indian nationals, NRI, and foreign nationals are also eligible fr the examination. The complete eligibility criteria for VITEEE 2022 are mentioned below:

Age Limit: Candidates appearing for VITEEE 2022 must be born on or before July 1, 2000 to be eligible for the exam.

Qualifying Examination: Candidates should have passed or should be appearing in the year 2022 in any of the following examinations:

• 10+2 or Higher Secondary Exam conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), or The Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (ISCE).
• Two Year Pre-University exam or Intermediate conducted by a recognized Board/University. 
• International Baccalaureate Diploma of the International Baccalaureate Office, Geneva or High School Certificate Exam of The Cambridge University.
• General Certificate Education (GCE) examination (London/Cambridge/Sri Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level.
• Candidates from NIOS will also be eligible for VITEEE 2022.

VITEEE 2022 Qualifying Marks: Candidates have to secure a minimum aggregate of 55% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology in the qualifying examination to apply for the Undergraduate Engineering admission in VITEEE 2022. 

Candidates belonging to the SC/ST category and hailing from Jammu and Kashmir/Ladakh and the North-Eastern states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Mizoram, Manipur, Meghalaya, Sikkim, Nagaland, and Tripura will be eligible with 46% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination.

Nationality: The appearing candidates have to be a resident/Non-Resident Indian National. Candidates with PIO and OCI will also be eligible for VITEEE 2022. However, foreign nationals can apply through the foreign category only.

Syllabus

VITEEE 2022 Syllabus

VITEEE Syllabus has been released by VIT University. VITEEE 2022 question paper comprises 125 MCQs from 5 subjects including Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology, English and Aptitude. Candidates are expected to go through the syllabus well so that they can prepare for the exam. VITEEE 2022 Syllabus has the curriculum of Class 12 and Class 11 (Science) including both CBSE and Tamil Nadu State Board of Higher Secondary. Registration

Step 1: VITEEE 2022 Registration - Go to the official website - vit.ac.in and click on the new registration link for B.Tech admissions. Candidates have to enter the required details such as name, date of birth, gender, mobile number, email id, and nationality. The authority will send the login id and password to the registered email id of the candidates.

Step 2: Filling of VITEEE 2022 Application Form - After completing the first step, candidates have to fill out the application form for VITEEE 2022 now. Candidates have to enter their personal details, educational details, qualifying exam, and contact details. After submitting these details, the application number will be generated. 

Step 3: VITEEE 2022 Application Fee Payment - Candidates have to pay the application fee through net banking/Credit Card/Debit Card.

Step 4: Photograph and Signature Uploading - Candidates have to upload their photograph and signature in the prescribed format by the authority. See the below table to know the format.

Step 5: Final Submission - Before submitting the application form, candidates should check all the provided details on the application form for VITEEE 2022. Download and take a printout of the filled-in application form.

VITEEE 2022 Latest Updates

April 11, 2022 - VITEEE 2022 exam date has been revised by VIT Vellore. The authority will conduct VITEEE 2022 from June 30 to July 6, 2022.

March 15, 2022 - VITEEE 2022 exam dates are revised by the exam authority at the official website. The exam will be conducted from June 17 to 25. The last of application form submission has also been extended till May 20.

March 8, 2022 - The exam dates of VITEEE 2022 have been released on the official website. The exam is scheduled to be conducted from May 30 to June 7, 2022.

February 23, 2022 - It has been notified that VITEEE 2022 will be conducted tentatively between the second and third week of April. Moreover, VITEEE 2022 Application Form will tentatively be open till March-end.

December 2, 2022 - The application form for VITEEE 2022 has been released on the official website. Candidates can now apply online.

November 2, 2022 - VITEEE 2022 official website has been launched by VIT Vellore. Candidates can now find the official updates on the website i.e., viteee.vit.ac.in
